“In the back of my head, I’ve always thought if anyone was to redo this show, I’d like to see how it would change if it was a man,” she says. Would that be different enough to make an American version (e.g. if the show was truly Being Adam from the start or even Being Ethan)?  Or do you think some of the charm of the show comes from having a female protagonist?

ABC to adapt Canadian series 'Being Erica'  →
While the BBC is already in the process of bringing a version of Being Erica to the UK, American network ABC has started developing their own version of the Canadian hit. What do you guys think?  How many US viewers do we have out there?
